You find yourself standing in fog, so thick it is difficult to see through, though at least it isn't that strange miasma that had been pouring out of his heart when Allen first opened the door.
Okay lets all stay together kids--no separating. Lets get moving ahead~!
I can't see anything ...
Hang onto Syaoran~.
Ah... I can guide you.
[sticks her tongue out at him which might be hard to see, but the added sound effect helps:] Nyahh~
[swats at her lightly]
[... siiiigh taking Syaoran's hand]
I did promise.
I did promise.
It's not that. I don't need to "see" to find my way. I can lead the others too if they need it.
LUCKILY that isn't necessary. As the last of you step through, the fog suddenly parts under a strong, sourceless gust of wind, spreading and dissipating, revealing the arched Japanese bridge everyone is standing on, and beyond it is a red tori gate guarded by (ordinary) stone lions.
Stepping past the gate brings you to a paved clearing edged with forest. Opposite of you is a wall (http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd290/ceesoo/SabraLaTau/shrine_gates.png), the overhang making it impossible for a normal person to climb over, though one might be able to peep through crisscrossing beams holding up the overhang. Set in it is another gate, this one with doors, which seem to be bolted on the other side. At least there doesn't seem to be any guards aside from more big statues of stone lions?

Whoa—! . . . We should go have a look, right?
How exotic. Yeah.
Lets go see.
[GOING ON OVER peeking time]
Lets go see.
[GOING ON OVER peeking time]
Is it safe to go over it?
Lets try knocking first.
You see some buildings, largely obscured by the trees growing in the way... Also.. Something about your vision feels weird. Although your eye is still blind, you'll notice that oddly you no longer have a blind spot. If you pay too much attention to it that perception tends to go away, but it comes back if you go back to focusing on something else.
The sensation may also be familiar to people like Watanuki, who are used to things like dreamwalking.

[WHOA FULL VISION WHAT jerks head back from peeking]
I had depth perception it was weird.
[whup that means me]
It's okay... you should become used to it.
It's okay... you should become used to it.
Actually, it seems like it doesn't matter where you're at...
[blinking hard in a constant effort to...have imperfect vision red what...]
I guess...
I guess...
Don't concentrate on it so much. This reality isn't like the one that we came from, that's all.
