As everyone steps outside, if they walk far enough and look back toward the shrine they'll notice there is a giant hand (http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd290/ceesoo/SabraLaTau/teiten.png) reaching down from the sky... It is surrounded by a familiar miasma... which ripples from it across the area...

It's pretty high up, but there is some of that data fog drifting down over the shrine. It may be drifting toward you.
