It's ok, he won't miss it. In fact as it flops over dead the body starts to melt and disappear into the ground??? The small figure seeing that it's main mode of attack has been defeated disappears with a sound of bells.
It left something behind... Or maybe it was there to begin with? Anyway amongst the stuff that's still scattered around there is a cracked visor sitting on the ground...
The scanner on the panel lights up! The visor in your hands disappear into strings of data and the barrier on the torii drops.
Beyond it you see a dark path (http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd290/ceesoo/SabraLaTau/gates.png), lined with more torii gates. From somewhere beyond where you can see there are the faint strains of a children's song (http://youtu.be/gQeJGhu1FTg?t=7s) which may be familiar to Watanuki, at least.
