He looks up at the gate, troubled. He is a boy not much older than Yayoi, clothed in the typical Edo style, with brown hair (the result of bleaching and dyeing) and mismatched eyes, his left eye appearing red due to lack of pigmentation.

The ground on the other side is paved as well, leading up to a complex of buildings. There are delicious smells on the air when the breeze blows... but otherwise there doesn't seem to be anyone paying attention to the gate.
