As soon as you turn back toward the gate you see this creature (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/amatsuki/v01/c001/16.html) between you and the gate. A strange figure stands upon it's back, holding a bell. It rings again...
Well, it certainly doesn't answer, but only one of them has claws to maul with. The baboon-lion-like creature rises from it's haunches, standing taller than Syaoran.
What is falsehood? asks a voice, warped and childish sounding...
If the beast manages to touch your arm anywhere that limb may start to feel numb. It rears up slightly, trying to get it's good paw on you so it can grab the sword and yank it away.
...Unfortunately bondage materia has a high miss rate against boss-type creatures. On the plus side, with it's teeth on the sword like that you would just need a boost to cut off it's head...
It's ok, he won't miss it. In fact as it flops over dead the body starts to melt and disappear into the ground??? The small figure seeing that it's main mode of attack has been defeated disappears with a sound of bells.
It left something behind... Or maybe it was there to begin with? Anyway amongst the stuff that's still scattered around there is a cracked visor sitting on the ground...
